WiscWeb’s launch request form will look different starting 7/29/26

On the morning of Wed, July 29, 2026, WiscWeb’s launch request form received an update. The new form leverages DoIT’s new Ivanti Neurons tooling for service requests. This shift will result in changes to the design of the form, as well as the location of where you fill it out. And, users will need to login to WiscIT in order to submit a request.

What will the new form look like?

The new form will publish to a “wisc-amc.ivanticloud.com” URL. It will not live within the WiscWeb site and instead, users will be directed to the DoIT Service Request tool that lives in Ivanti Neurons.

Users will first be taken to a login screen for WiscIT, DoIT’s internal ticketing system. You will need to click on the “Sign in with NetID” link, which appears directly below the username and password fields:

In WiscIT, users should select the "Sign in with NetID" link, which is positioned below the regular username and password fields.

This should kick you over to a traditional UW-Madison login screen, where you’ll need to authenticate with your NetID and password:

UW-Madison's Shibboleth login screen shows a NetID field up top and a password field below. Enter your credentials and then click on the login button.

This site is branded differently than the WiscWeb website.

Here’s a screenshot of the new form:

WiscWeb's new launch request form looks different in Ivanti Neurons. Most notably, the banner at the top will show in a gray background with white UW crests. Also, form fields will look and operate slightly differently.

Also, emails regarding your submission and launch approval will come from wiscit@doit.wisc.edu.

Why are we changing this form?

For launch requests, WiscWeb historically used a Gravity Form to open a ticket in DoIT’s ticketing system, Cherwell. Cherwell is going away and is being replaced with Ivanti Neurons.

We no longer have the option to open a ticket directly from Gravity Forms and have been asked to use Ivanti’s workflow/form solution known as Service Requests.

Why are we sharing this update?

We’re communicating this change in hopes of limiting any alarm or concern as the new form does look drastically different.
