⚠️ Attention: Migrating sites

Certain features and plugins - like UW Publications - do not yet have a migration path in UW Theme 2.0. Check the Element Conversion table to understand the status of existing technology. If you rely on any features that are not yet ready, please consider waiting on the migration process. You will not be able to request a re-migration later.

Note: All new WiscWeb sites will now be built using UW Theme 2.0. This theme leverages WordPress’s block editor/Gutenberg, which is a shift from the existing technology that you might be familiar with. Prior to requesting a site, we encourage you to review the UW Theme 2.0 website and WiscWeb training.

Please Note

For groups that are using UW Theme Classic but are not currently in WiscWeb, we recommend building from scratch. If your preference is to migrate content, we can try an import, but it is not guaranteed to work. For this, please choose the Build from Scratch option to get a new project site. Then, fill out our Customer Support Form to request an import. You'll need to share the XML export for the site with your support request.
