The UW Certificate Service team recently sent an email to users to make them aware of changes coming to the service offering. A few users have reached out to inquire about whether or not these changes impact WiscWeb sites. They do not.

What is happening?
The CA/Browser (CA/B) Forum will be shortening certificate lifespans over the course of several years. They sent an email with full details, as well as some links to documentation.

If you have certificates that are managed by the UW Certificate Service, action may be needed. Please review the email and related documentation to determine next steps.
If your site/domain is in WiscWeb, no action is required. To confirm which sites are in WiscWeb, please check the domain against our sites list.
