On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, UW Theme Classic was updated to version 1.42.0 in the WiscWeb service. Sites using UW Theme Classic were also upgraded to WordPress Core 6.9 at this time. A full list of changes in this version of UW Theme Classic can be reviewed in the changelog.
This release included an update to Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) Pro as well as some minor tweaks to theme styles and functionality:
Site title and tagline design changes
There have been slight changes to the site title and tagline area of the header to improve readability.
Credential field duplication in fac/staff listing in editing view
Email fields were erroneously appearing in the Credentials column in the editing view of fac/staff.

We have rolled out a fix that should ensure that emails are showing in the correct column in the future.
