UW Theme updated to 1.35.1

On Tuesday, August 20, 2024, the WordPress UW Theme was updated to version 1.35.1 in the WiscWeb service. A full list of changes in this version of the UW Theme can be reviewed in the changelog.

This release included security upgrades for ACF Pro, as well as a few other edits.

Here’s an overview of the noteworthy changes:

Universities of Wisconsin link in footer

This update adds a small tweak to the footer to include a “Part of the Universities of Wisconsin” link just below the UW-Madison logo.

The UW-Madison logo as shown in the footer of UW Theme sites, with the inclusion of a link reading "Part of the Universities of Wisconsin."

Fac/staff bio font

This release also includes an update to the font size and line height when displayed in the list view.
