On Thursday, August 4, 2022, the WordPress UW Theme was updated to version 1.19.0 in the WiscWeb service. A full list of changes in this version of the UW Theme can be reviewed in the changelog.
A few of the other noteworthy changes are outlined below:
New Styles for Text Blocks and Featured Content Blocks
We’ve added an option to add a drop shadow as a styling option for both the Text Block and Featured Content Block page elements.
This option will appear below the content area of both elements:
Drop Shadow
Text Block
Featured Content Block
UW Card Style
Text Block
This is not a new feature for Text Blocks, but it is being renamed from UW Box Style to UW Card Style. That’s the only change for Text Blocks. It will still look like the same styles that you’ve always enjoyed:
One note, however, is that the old setting will still show up if you have it selected. When you find those instances, we recommend unchecking “UW Box Style” and checking “UW Card Style” instead.
Featured Content Block
This style option was not available previously, and is a new feature of Featured Content Blocks!
Both: Drop Shadow with UW Card Style
You also have the option to add both the dropshadow feature and the UW Card Style to Text Blocks and Featured Content Blocks:

Alternating Content Blocks Bug Fix
When a page’s background color was light gray, there was CSS that caused the card style of the alternating content blocks to become light gray, as well. This update will fix that bug.
