WiscWeb training provides users of all skills insight into using WordPress and the UW Theme to provide your audiences with the content that they need in an easy-to-navigate, accessible website.
While you can begin with the printable documentation, these video trainings are broken up into several categories, streamlining the process of onboarding new site editors or administrators, or to refresh your skills and knowledge in a particular area.
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the WiscWeb team at help@doit.wisc.edu.

Online Training
Follow along pre-recorded training videos to introduce you to WordPress, the UW Theme, and the WiscWeb service. Start with the basics and continue to build your skills by watching presenters cover varying topics from page elements to user experience strategies to accessibility.

Virtual Training
In some cases, questions may be more specific than can be answered in pre-recorded training sessions. For additional training opportunities, guidance, or consultation, schedule a time to meet with a member of the WiscWeb staff. These meetings can occur over a Zoom or Teams.
Please contact Matt Goins to schedule a time.

In-Person Training
Regularly scheduled training sessions are not available at this time, but one-on-one or group training sessions can be accommodated at your location. These provide an opportunity to talk through strategy, design, process, and delivery of your WiscWeb website as well as how-to guidance.
Please contact Matt Goins to schedule a time.
