It has been identified to also be an issue in Production. A ticket has been created and the developers of the UW Theme will assess. This is unrelated to the update or Gutenberg Ramp plugin.
Events Calendar Options Not Appearing The options to add new events in the Events Calendar plugin were not present, as well as various other settings. Users reported only seeing options for Tags, Settings, and Help. 5 No These settings should have transferred from production when QA was synched with Prod. This is unrelated to the WordPress Core update or Gutenberg Ramp plugin.
Email Notifications from Gravity Forms Single user reported not receiving email submissions from Gravity Forms. 1 No The issue was that the user did not have the "No Reply" email address (noreply@email.wiscweb.wisc.edu) set as the From Email address in the form settings. Without this setting, Gravity Forms forms will not send a notification and the page will display an Array error.
Attributes for Embedded Content Users testing embedded content with specific attributes (like height and width) reported these options not appearing as expected. Specifically, this was in regards to YouTube videos and Google Maps using iframe tags. 6 No This is a result of the QA environment not being up-to-date with changes to an Allowed HTML plugin for WiscWeb. These updates allow for certain attributes to be added to embed code. As this was not activated in QA, the attributes failed to be applied. This is unrelated to the WordPress Core update or Gutenberg Ramp plugin.
Changing Site Title Color User reported not being able to update the main title (site title) color for their site. 1 No The issue was that the user needed to publish the changes and exit the Customizer in order for the changes to take effect. This is unrelated to the WordPress Core update or Gutenberg Ramp plugin.
CAPTCHA Throwing Error for Gravity Form The user reported seeing an error on their Gravity Forms form that included a CAPTCHA box. 1 No This was a result of the CAPTCHA settings for QA being specific to their Production URL rather than the QA URL. CAPTCHA will not work in QA for testing unless the user sets up a specific account with the QA URL. This is unrelated to the WordPress Core update or Gutenberg Ramp plugin.
Missing Plugins The user reported not being able to see options for wpDataTables and Gravity Forms in the Dashboard. 1 No The user was not an administrator on the project and therefore, had restricted access. Updating the users' role fixed this issue. This is unrelated to the WordPress Core update or Gutenberg Ramp plugin.
Events Calendar Map The user reported seeing an empty block instead of a Google Map when an event is created. 1 No This issue was occurring for the user in both QA and production. It was related to a setting for Events Calendar that is typically unchecked by default. Updating this setting has removed the map option for the user and the empty block no longer appears. This is unrelated to the WordPress Core update or Gutenberg Ramp plugin.
Image Alignment in Text Blocks The user reported randomly experiencing issues with updating the alignment of an image in a text block. The image changes alignment after updating the page. 1 No Testing could not reproduce this issue. Further testing needed but this appears to be a bug in the project. This is unrelated to the WordPress Core update or Gutenberg Ramp plugin.
