The Image Carousel Page Element allows you to display a rotating series of pictures within your page. This is not to be confused with the Hero Carousel, which always displays at the top of a page and uses larger images. The Image Carousel Page Element can be placed anywhere on your page and can be used to break-up content and highlight different sections of your page. Our KnowledgeBase offers instructions on adding the Image Carousel to a page.
Image Carousels can be resource and data heavy on mobile networks, and it’s recommended to use them only on a limited basis. They should also pertain to the page on which they are added. Adding images of graduate students working with a professor makes sense on a graduate school recruitment page. Showing images of fall on campus for page containing a series of meeting minutes is not a good use of an image carousel.
The recommended image size for the Image Carousel page element is 600 px wide and 400 px high.
