Training – Introduction to Google Analytics

The purpose of this course is to introduce campus website users, specifically the WordPress UW Theme (https://uwtheme.wordpress.wisc.edu/) to Google Analytics. This course will provide the audience with instruction on creating an Analytics account using an Office 365 service account, implement the Tracking ID into a site using the WordPress UW Theme, navigating the Google Analytics interface, and a brief introduction to some of the data that is accessible via your analytics dashboard.
This course is designed for users with little to no experience using Google Analytics, and are looking to begin using this service with their campus website. More experienced users should register for one of the more advanced training sessions offered.
