Deeper Dive into Google Analytics

April 10, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Register Here

If you are already using Google Analytics with your site, this class will provide a deeper dive into understanding why the data you are collecting is important and how to pull even more from the information you are gathering.

This class will cover the more pointed questions you can ask yourself about Google Analytics besides looking at just the numbers: identifying pages that are performing poorly; tracking the success of social media and email campaigns; analyzing unique segments of data; comparing data against other metrics and time periods; and sharing your specific metrics with others (reporting).

Please bring your laptop to participate. A detailed agenda will be provided. The first hour of this training session is intended for instruction and review, and will be followed by a 60-minute Open Lab session for additional Q&A and support time.

This course is designed for users who have more experience using Google Analytics, and are looking to learn how to do more with the information they are collecting.

This will also be streamed live via the WiscWeb Youtube channel, and archived for future reference. If you plan to view this event via the broadcast you do not need to register for the course.

This session is free to all UW-Madison website and content managers and creators as a collaborative service of the UW-Madison Center For Digital Accessibility and User Experience and WiscWeb.
